Saturday, January 26 is Inque Day! Have you checked out these stamps? Go to Inque Boutique and sign up to be a member. You'll get a 20% off coupon, good for today (Saturday) only! Then head on over to Scrap Treasures where quite a few of the Inque stamps are in stock, and more will be posted by tomorrow. Your 20% discount coupon is good on Inque products at the Scrap Treasures store too! While you're there, check out this February Daisy Bucket Love You kit that is available today also! I just got mine yesterday, and I can't wait to start playing with it. It's a beautiful kit and the price is right too.

Busy is not even the word for it!
It's been CRAZY busy! Addison had her first big birthday party Saturday. She was so excited. We had a great online crop at Scrap Treasures this past weekend. I've also been trying to catch up on housework and paperwork and laundry.
I gave up on trying to post a new layout every day at the BPS class, but I have finished 19 layouts so far this month. I don't think I've EVER done that many layouts in one month before. Here are a few I haven't posted here yet:
Scanned and scrapped Addison's list for Santa using that great December kit at Scrap Treasures.
I used a Valerie Salmon sketch and some Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper for this layout of my dad and Clark at two months old.
a scraplift of Emilie Ahern. PP is BoBunny press, words from Lil Davis, epoxy by Creative Imaginations
Thanks for dropping by!

Snap Out of the Winter Doldrums
I'm on this Merry-Go-Round
and I can't get off! No blogging 'cause I've been busy scrapping. I've finished at least one layout for 14 straight days! But this may be the end of the ride. There's DT work to be done, cards to make, and a swap to finish. I used a Debbie Hodge sketch for tonight's layout.

Score! at CVS and Winner of Blog Candy
I've been playing The Grocery Game for a few years now. I never shopped at CVS before I found out about all the great deals you can get with their Extra Value cards. They're always emailing coupons and spitting out Extra Bucks at the register. I stopped on the way home from work to pick up some things we like to keep in inventory. I paid $19.62.
And left with $14.00 in more Extra Bucks AND all this!!! I'm most excited about all the Children's Motrin and Tylenol. I hate having to run out in the middle of the night and, on top of that, pay full price! LOL
Oh? Don't really care how much money I saved today? You really wanted to know who the winner is? Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I printed out 2 copies of all your comments on the blog candy. I'm taking one copy of comments and the new TAC catalog to pass the time during dance class tomorrow. This time next week I should be swimming in new rubbah!! :) We cut up the other copy of comments, and my daughter picked this name out of the bowl!
DENEAN!!! I already have your address so that Cards magazine will go out to you next week!!! Congrats girl!

10 days and counting!
Not sure how much longer I'll be able to keep up with the Layout A Day challenge, but so far so good. Tonight I used this week's sketch from Valerie Salmon and part of the January kit from The Scrap Room. I just love these pictures from last year's fireworks.
Just a few more hours to post your comment to be in the blog candy drawing!

Speed Scrapping!
That's what the Layout A Day challenge at BPS is forcing me to do. I'm also hosting Speed Scrap Challenges all week here! And everyone who participates (even just posting one LO counts) gets their name in the drawing for a copy of this.
More subscription glitches that netted me two copies of the January issue means I'm giving one away as a prize.
Our challenge for Day One was to scraplift a layout in the Scrap Treasures gallery. I chose a layout of Christine's (pinklemonade) and came up with this super quick page for Addison's school picture.
We'd love to have you join us for the Challenges! We're committed to starting off the year right by getting more pages done and using up our stash.

Six Years
Six years ago this was my surprise de jour. This beautiful baby arrived four full weeks before her due date with no warning that she might be pre-term. She was perfectly healthy (Apgar scores of 9 & 10) and the prettiest thing I had ever seen!! But oh boy, were we unprepared! She didn’t even wait for her baby showers…and we’ll never forget those good friends that scrambled to get us a crib mattress and put her room together before she came home! I guess that was our first lesson that we had given up total control of our schedules.
Addison, you are one of My Three Reasons for everything I do! But you’re the one that convinced me to scrapbook – so the little details of all those precious memories don’t get lost in the cobwebs of my brain. With the flip of a page in an album, all the emotions come flooding back to me as if time had been standing still. Thanks, Pumpkin, for all the joy you’ve brought to us! You are a smart, beautiful, and loving little girl, and we love you forever.
Oh and if you’ve made it this far….don’t forget about the Blog Candy down below. I’m writing down all your ideas. I can’t wait to go back through the catalog again to make my final picks.

Silence is NOT always Golden
Around this house, silence is welcome ONLY if a 2-year old is tucked in his crib. Otherwise, you'll encounter something like this!
And yes....I'm glad we laughed about it! But I'm really showing the next picture so you'll note the location of the Skin-so-Soft Bath Oil. It's that tall bottle in the FAR right corner with the teal lid. Because about 4 hours later, Mr. Quiet ventured back in the bathroom. I guess he knew he better skip right over the makeup this time...and reach for something else. By the time we got to the source of the no-noise, he had opened the Skin-So-Soft and dumped it all (probably about 12 oz.) on the bathroom floor. I didn't laugh this time, but I do have a floor that won't need to be mopped tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Handsome Lad
I did get a layout finished yesterday for the LOAD Challenge, but I was too tired to post it here. How perfect that this sketch showed up in my Google Reader yesterday! Paper and the little sidekick is from Sweetwater, and I used my Cuttlebug for the concentric stars.
Today I'm in a panic over the to-do list spinning through my head. I think I'll go get it down on paper. Then I need to start crossing things off!!!

Blog Candy...Just Because
Due to a glitch in my subscription renewal, I received two January issues of Cards. I got it worked out with the publisher, but I'll be sending one of these fabulous magazines to someone who makes a comment on this post. But right now I'm having a dilemma. My wish list from the new TAC catalog is WAY too long. If you could just take a peek through the online catalog....and let me know what should be tops on my list. Maybe that will help me narrow my list down a little bit. And maybe I'll just throw in a new TAC catalog with the magazine before I send it your way. I'll leave this open until Friday, January 11 at 6PM CST and use Random.org to draw a winner sometime next Friday night. Good luck!
Luvin' some "Sketch This" & Scenic Route
I really had my doubts about getting a LO posted for Day 3 of this BPS challenge. It was back to work today, and after the kiddo's bedtimes I needed to finish a DT project. But once that was done I found Janelle's sketch and the SR Roxbury papers and stickers I got from the Scrap Treasures store. I did add the holly leaves sent from Making Memories. This LO literally took about 20 minutes to put together. And the icing on the cake is I'm happy with it!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! And STAY TUNED! I've got another blog candy giveaway to post over the weekend. It's just getting too late tonight....even for me. *wink*

CPS 45
My mission has changed. Instead of trying to use up the Basic Grey Blitzen, I've moved on to Basic Grey Color Me Silly. Used another great sketch from CPS and a stamp by Autumn Leaves Rhonna Farrer.
Day Two!

One Day! One Layout!
Several of the gals at Scrap Treasures have joined the Get a Load of This! class at Big Picture Scrapbooking. It's a FREE class....more like motivation to do a LOAD (LayOut A Day) for the entire month of January! Between working and mommy-ing and taking care of things at home, I don't really have any high aspirations of actually getting 31 LO's completed by the end of the month. But I'm positive I wouldn't have this one ready for an album tonight without the extra motivation! If you're inspired to get an extra push, it's not too late to sign up for the class. Then come join us on the Scrap Treasures message board. We'll be cheering each other on all month!
