What have you been putting off?

I have a list a mile long of things I keep procrastinating on. I'm really not sure if it is procrastination, or merely the fact that the list is so very long---yet there are still only 24 hours in each day. Regardless, something Heidi Swapp said in our class at Scrap Etc. really struck a chord with me. Forty-eight hours later and I'm still mulling it over and over. And I quote:

"A year from now, you'll wish you had started today."

Where do I start?

That's kind of what I keep asking myself this morning. Today I start getting our life back to normal. Tax season was terribly exhausting. Then Scrap Etc. started Thursday night. Friday and Saturday were filled with awesome classes and projects, time spent with some long-time online friends that I finally got to meet in person, and I even met a new friend or two! It was wonderful, but now I'm even more exhausted. My mom left this morning, so I'll be spending the next few days re-connecting with my family and my home. I need to restore order on both parts. I told them the other day that the sherriff comes back Sunday. The deputies (mom and Carl) have honestly done their best, but you know what I mean......

Anyway, here are just a couple of pics with Jenni Bowlin and Heidi Swapp.

I know I'll have more to share about Scrap Etc. later. In spite of my exhaustion, I honestly left with a renewed desire to maintain those special online friendships, to tell "my story" through my scrapbook pages, and to make a conscious effort to live my life with purpose so that the story I end up telling is not just the one I hold in my dreams, but the dream that we've worked at to become our reality.
